It's been a while since an Alfa last turned a lap in anger at the 24 Hours of Daytona, but Italian constructor Picchio has released information on a new Daytona Prototype design based on the 8C Competizione. Alfa had previously announced plans to compete in the GT2 category in 2008, so we'll see if and how this fits into the mix. No official word yet, but here's hoping the car goes from concept to competition.
