Engine Oil Seals

Oil Seal
  Tech Tip
  Installing Oil Seals
There are special tools to install oil seals, but most folks look around for a piece of PVC pipe, a block of wood, or a socket that's exactly the right size to drive the seal near its periphery (where it's least likely to deform). A little grease around the outside can help, too. Just be careful to drive it in perfectly straight!
