The Green Knob

The Original Green Knob simply disconnects your battery to prevent theft--and battery drain. A great way to make sure your car is still waiting at the airport when you get back! But newer cars with continuous electronic components (such as radio station presets, computer brains and car alarms) need a small amount of current at all times.
Here's where the Fused Green Knob comes in. It has a fused bypass wire that allows low-amperage devices to continue operating when you remove the Green Knob. If a thief tries to start the car, the starter's extra current will simply blow the fuse. You can remove the fuse to prevent battery drain for long-term storage. We carry both Green Knob versions.
