Crankcase Emission Control System, 1981-on Fiat Spider
The crankcase ventilation system is a closed system designed to prevent the emission of blow-by-gases and oil vapors into the atmoshpere. These gases and vapors are piped to an orifice downstream of the throttle and are then drawn into the engine under any rpm condition.
