Your replacement fuel sender (part #34283) does not look the same as the original, but they are interchangeable. To install, disassemble the original pump by removing the bracket and pump as a unit. Next, remove the pump from the bracket. If you are reusing the original pump, slide the hose and the pump onto the new sender. It is not possible to reuse the old bracket. To secure the pump to the new sender, use either two small hose clamps or two plastic wire ties. |
