Cylinder Head/Engine Displacement Recognition for Alfa Romeo
If the engine displacement is not cast onto the rear surface of the head (such as Alfetta and later-model 4-cylinder cars), or the rear of the cylinder heads (V6 models), refer to the following diagram for translation of the casting codes found on the front of the head:
